Chaplain Mark Ledbetter

Thoughts. Experiences. Inspiration.

As a Community Service Chaplain, I have been trained and am prepared to respond to the emotional and spiritual needs of Individuals, Families, or the Community at Large created by Critical Incidents. Crisis intervention might be described as temporary First Aid, or triage, during or following a Critical Incident.

Though not trained as a clinical counselor and/or long-term counseling, I have been trained to evaluate and mitigate initial responses and when necessary to direct individuals or groups to professional resources, individuals, or groups trained to address long-term issues that may develop; and/or provided resources and information relative to the issue encountered.

Further, I have been trained specific chaplaincy disciplines addressing Law Enforcement, Critical Incidents/Disaster, Hospitals and Hospice, and Death and Bereavement/Grief Issues.

More information regarding these areas of concern can be found by clicking the individual tabs for each discipline located on the at my Community Service Chaplain Website.
